I sincerely think that we do have to change with times & a more rational approach has to be taken for the disposal of the dead. The bodies are just kept to rot & with no vultures in sight I must say that we Parsis have a very sorry state of affairs as far as respect to our beloved loved and dear ones are subjected to. We have to think about a alternative. We have beeen taught from childhood that we worship FIRE, so why don't we consgine the body to flames and go in for a more cleaner and healtly mode of disposal. All our prayers will remain the same & only the disposal of the dead should undergo a change fast and for the better of our community.!
