		<description>this is a fascinating tale. but can a sandstorm swallow up as many as 50,000 people? that&#039;s a very large number and surely many survived. perhaps the number involved was far smaller. in any case, oracle&#039;s permission or not, Cambyses did conquer Egypt. the archeologists and researchers inovlved in this expedition are to be commended, but it seems to me they still have a lot of work ahead of them.</description>
