Meher Amalsad, friend of Parsi Khabar informs us…

Kamron Sohrabian, a senior in high school is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant. He is a resident of Orange County, California.

His chances of finding a match within the Zarathushti community are greater. Thus, we are asking you to reach out and make a difference.

There are three ways to help save his life. You can choose any one to reach out ASAP.

Please join the registry and let’s find a match to save Kamron’s life.

3. Please come with your family and friends to our California Zoroastrian Center for our Bone Marrow Registry Drive:

Sunday, December 13, 2015. 10am to 2pm at CZC (Orange County)

Sunday, December 13, 2015 11am to 3pm at CZC (Los Angeles)

Saturday, December 19, 2015 6pm to 10pm at CZC (Orange County)

Donors between the ages of 18-44 have the HIGHEST RATE OF MATCHING.  Please encourage all our community members to register and do a cheek swab.

Being a Zoroastrian, the likelihood of a match is greater in our community.  You and your children are encouraged to donate by registering online or by coming to the drive.

A bone marrow transplant is a life-saving treatment for people with blood cancers like lymphoma.  A donor’s healthy blood-forming cells are given directly into a patient’s bloodstream,  where they can begin to function and multiply.

For a patient’s body to accept these healthy cells, they need a donor who is a close match.

Please BE INVOLVED and TRANSPLANT HOPE.
