Meher Pudumjee
A chemical engineer by training, Pudumjee joined Thermax in 1990 and took over as chairperson in 2004. Last financial year, she led the company in its expansion and increased its product footprint despite a global economic slowdown. In FY19, revenue from the international business rose to ₹2,636 crore, while orders from international markets increased by 20% over the previous year. The energy and environment solutions provider posted an all-time high revenue of ₹6,123 crore, while profit came in 41% higher at ₹325 crore. This year, Thermax also inaugurated its manufacturing facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
