Metal magic and colourful characters were what it was as Tarana Khubchandani presented Arzan Khambatta’s creations at this art do.
It was a sunny and breezy Sunday soiree with guests admiring what could be termed as ‘steel magnolias’ that Arzan had articulated in sculpture. Besides the buzz at the bar everyone was in for a treat with a typical Parsi meal of ‘lagan nu bhonu’ that Arzan and wife Khushmuma had promised.
Traipsing across the garden green were the likes of Nawaz Modi Singhania, Poonam Soni, men-in-white Ashwin Deo and Kush Medhora, Suchitra Pillai, Terence Lewis, Poonam Dhillon, Bina Aziz, Meghna Oberoi, Namrata Barua, assorted artists like Ajay De, Lalitha Lajmi, Brinda Miller, Jaydeep Mehrotra, Laxman Shrestha, Sunil Padwal and Rajendra Kapse.
The guest list also included Narendra Kumar Ahmed (with his plaid trousers) and Babita Malkani, Monica Vaziralli, Daboo Ratnani, Priyasri Patodia, Aditya Hitkari with wife Divya Palat, Noshir Talati and Atul Kasbekar.
