Have you ever dreamed of seeing your words come to life and being celebrated for them? Here’s your chance!

The Global Council for Zoroastrians Trust (GCZT) has announced the The Ethics of Giving: A GCZT Writers Award Contest, inviting writers 15-35 years of age from across our community to participate.

Zoroastrians have a rich tradition of philanthropy deeply rooted in faith and history. Write a 700-800 word essay offering ideas and suggestions on why Zoroastrians from our community should cultivate the habit of giving financially towards various community causes.

This contest isn’t just about winning a prize (though the prizes are great!); it’s about giving voice to our collective creativity, honoring the power of the written word, and encouraging both young and seasoned writers to take a leap.

Prizes up for grabs:

  1. 1st Prize: USD $300
  2. 2nd Prize: USD $200
  3. 3rd Prize: USD $100

Whether you write essays, stories, reflections, or something entirely your own, this contest is the perfect platform to showcase your talent.

How to take part:

All the details about themes, guidelines, and deadlines are available on the official GCZT flyer and announcements. Don’t wait too long — put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!) and get your entries in.

This is a wonderful chance for our global Zoroastrian community to come together through words, celebrate our traditions, and inspire the next generation of writers.

At Parsi Khabar, we’re excited to share this opportunity with you — and we can’t wait to see the stories that emerge.
