Dear Reader
This year marks the start of 10th year of Parsi Khabar. What started as a very small idea on August 19th, 2005 has grown over a decade to become the premier source of online Parsi news aggregation. As the oldest news aggregating website in the Parsi Zarathushti world we cannot thank YOU…our reader enough.
May this be the year when we find the best in all of us as individuals and as a community globally and locally. Our wishes extend to you, your loved ones, families and friends.
May this also be the year when our community is in the news for all the positives that we bring about, not only for ourselves, but for our neighborhoods, communities, cities and nations.
With over a 2000 daily subscribers and over 8.1 million visitors since inception, we strive to maintain our standard of bringing you pertinent, accurate and insightful news and opinion. Your comments….all 11245 of them over the past nine years are highly appreciated and we look to many more in the years to come.
If you like what you read here, refer us to your friends and family members. Drop us a note and tell us what you like and what we can do to better this site. Your feedback, good wishes and participation are important and essential.
This is the year we also inducted a new team member !
Ava is a one year old toddler, full of life, with the biggest smile known to mankind. Ava calls Mehernaaz “mommie” and Shirrin and arZan “mami and mama”. When not playing or sleeping or eating or doing toddler tasks; she plays the most important role here on Parsi Khabar. She and those of her generation are the reason why we run this website. The hope is that when Ava grows up, she will have a ready reference about her identity, culture and ethnicity in a rapidly evolving global village, that will be the world of her times.
On behalf of my co-authors aVa, Mehernaaz, Shirrin and myself; we wish you a very Happy New Year 1384 Y.Z.
arZan
