Marzi Bhesania of Navsari, Gujarat; India is slated to be the first ever Parsi contestant on Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian version of the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
In the long run of the show in India, Marzi informs us that he is the first person from the region between Navsari and Mumbai to feature in the “hot” seat.
And another singular achievement is that he becomes the first Parsi Zoroastrian to become the finalist in an episode.
The episode will be telecast on Sony TV on November 15th and 16th, 2013 at 8:30 PM.
In a segment leading up to the actual question and answers, the show will also show snippets of Parsi culture and the Parsi way of life in Navsari and other areas.
