In a decisive move, over 100 members of the Poona Parsee Panchayat (PPP), led by Chairperson Adv. Marazban Irani, gathered to remove an unauthorized boundary erected by land grabbers on sacred trust land meant for the betterment of the Zoroastrian community.
Despite securing a favorable judgment in a lower court, a family had encroached upon the land, prompting the PPP to take firm action.

The community has long struggled with unauthorized activities on these grounds, including the dumping of garbage and dried leaves by local bodies and street sweepers.
After a 25-year wait, the proactive efforts of the current PPP board have reignited hope for progress.
Community members expressed their gratitude to all those who stood in solidarity to protect their heritage, while some notable figures remained absent from the initiative.
