Tehemton Mehta lives alone and does all his household chores himself

Tehemton Homi Dhunjiboy Mehta is not your typical centenarian. This Zoroastrian Dubai resident, who turns 102 on May 9, is a living testament to the fact that age is merely a number. He has no secret formula for his longevity other than long walks and staying away from all kinds of vices and excesses.
Living alone in a one-bedroom apartment in Dubai Marina, Mehta remains self-sufficient and independent. He does all his household chores himself. Sometime ago he bought a home-cleaning robot, but the contraption is still lying in his packaging.
He’s not one to shy away from a challenge either, as his sheer grit and determination helped him recover from a fractured leg and a nasty fall that put him out of action for several months in 2018. Despite his age, Mehta is still active and engaged with life. He renewed his UAE driving license until October 2023, although he has not driven since 2004, as he prefers using public transport. “The Dubai Metro is cheap and convenient. I use it regularly,” he said. “Else, I walk. Back in the days, I’d often walk from the World Trade Centre to Jumeirah Creek, but now I do it in the neighbourhood.
Born in 1922 in Kenya when it was still under British rule, Mehta’s journey to Dubai started in 1980, when he moved to the emirate and worked as an accountant at a five-star hotel in Deira. He continued to work until 2002 when his age was revealed in a routine background check of employees, and he was asked to retire. But retirement hasn’t slowed him down one bit.
The grand old man, who is of Indian descent, doesn’t follow the conventional wisdom that “early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” He prefers to take his time and start his day at 1.30pm. After a refreshing cup of tea that he makes for himself, he spends his evenings reading or watching TV. He opts for a light meal, either at a nearby restaurant or a pre-made dish from the supermarket.
Mehta has never married. He has a younger sister in the United Kingdom (UK), but he dropped plans to relocate there after being mugged in London in broad daylight during a visit a few years ago.
“I feel safe in Dubai. There is no place like it anywhere,” he says.
Themton, congratulations that God has given you a long life, the longest will be 120 years, and I pray that you will live the balance of the years also. One thing you are missing is the LIVING GOD, who has kept you, shielded you, and protected you, and you do not know Him, who I declare Him to you, who is JESUS CHRIST your Creator/Lord/God/Savior–who is the Savior of your body and soul after death. Since you are still conscious and your intellect is still strong, I request you to get the NKJV BIBLE and read the Old Testament first, that is Genesis, Exodus, and Deuteronomy, to understand who God really is and what is an IDOL. Immediately after that please read the New Testament which Jesus brought to Jews first and all mankind, who specifically came to die for the sinful mankind, to redeem them by His suffering and shed precious blood to give mankind a gift of ETERNAL LIFE. It actually means, he purchased mankind’s soul by spreading His precious blood on the cross, so mankind can die in peace with God and will receive a Heavenly reward, THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. Be wise Themton, and obey God. Jesus says in the gospel of John 3: 16. ” For God so loved the world that He GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in HIM, should not perish, but have everlasting life. ”
It means everything to you. Please google and check what begotten says—-It means God took a body and became flesh like you and me and came as the SON OF GOD, as He proclaimed also born of a virgin unlike all mankind, YET REMAINED SINLESS. Understand what is GODHEAD, ie GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON (JESUS), AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT, and they are ONE. So to come to GOD, you must come to JESUS first, as you cannot come to the LIVING GOD through any other name. Please note, never bother to ask any questions to Catholics in Dubai, but only to BORN AGAIN SPIRITUAL believers. Catholics are not Christians but are all idol worshippers just like Catholics who look to a man like pope and also read his false Bible where he added words—and Bible says pope is accursed—NOTE THAT. An idol means anything like any dead man or any clay idol, or anything like TV, or anything which is above GOD or the name of JESUS, as JESUS must come FIRST above every other name to your soul.
