Homai Vyarawalla, Late Dr. Keki Byramjee Grant and Dadi Dorab Pudumjee were amongst the 128 Indians bestowed with the Padma Awards. More about Homai Vyarawalla here.

Legendary photographer Homai Vyarawalla was awarded the Padma Vibhushan for her outstanding work as a photo journalist spanning decades.

Late Dr. Keki Bryamjee Grant, eminent cardiologist was awarded the Padma Bhushan for his services in the field of medicine

Dadi Dorab Pudumjee, eminent puppeteer was awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution to the field of art.

  • Dorab.

What about the man who claims to have made ‘invention of the world’ a Rs.500 Crore business. viz Rasna.?

  • Burjor Bharucha

With such a miniscule population to secure the prestigious award Padma Bhushan for 3% amongst the awardees is indeed laudable and a great achievement.

  • Zerxes.Dordi

I fully agree with Dorab here. B.P.P. which considers this entrepreneur godsent saviour of our community and attributes him with having done a lot for the community should instantly represent to Ministry of Minority Affairs for causing affront of the community by ovelooking this ‘gem’

  • Zerxes.Dordi

Oh just forgot to add here. For purposes of representation, BPP Chairmen can seek help of Dadi from Delhi Anjuman
