Dinyar Vania, a Parsi tenor performs at the NY City Opera on October 14, 2006 and again the following Tuesday.

“Dinyar Vania is making his lead tenor role debut with N.Y. City Opera in the role of Rudolfo in LaBoheme. It will be staged at the N.Y. State Theatre at Lincoln Center at 8.00 p.m. on Sat.,Oct. 14th.(Opening night), & also at 7.30 p.m. on Tues. Oct.17th., 8.00 p.m. on Fri. Oct.20th. and at 8.00 p.m. on Wed. Oct. 25th.”

Dinyar Vania has emerged as one of the greatest tenors of his generation. He has been noted for his rich lyric voice of gorgeous color and astonishing power. This fall he will sing Rodolfo in La Boheme at New York City Opera, and appear at the World Trade Center on September 11 in their Memorial Concert. This is followed with company debuts including Syracuse Opera as Edgardo in a production of Lucia di Lamermoor, Toledo Opera as Cavaradossi in Tosca, and a return to Knoxville Opera to sing Rodolfo in La Bohème. This past summer Dinyar was the featured tenor in New York City Opera in The Parks performances.
